Our Services

Buyers Inspection
Know exactly what you are bargaining for. A thorough, competent and professional inspection provides you with essential knowledge of the condition of the home. See our Inspection Overview for more details.

Sellers Inspection
Many homeowners are unaware of the condition of their home. How many times have you walked around your home to look for roof leaks after a rain? Have you pulled back furniture from the window areas to see if water intrusion exists? The list goes on and on. We are all guilty of this. Many of us have been living with home deficiencies so long that they have become common and do not notice them. A professional home inspection will you make you aware and allow you the opportunity to make necessary corrections prior to a prospective buyer bringing in their own home inspector. Perception is reality. A home with even minor deficiencies can appear to be a money pit. See our Inspection Overview for more details.

Construction Inspection
Many municipalities perform building permit inspections for code compliance. The purpose of our company performing “phase” inspections is to provide you with a clear independent review of the property during various stages of the construction process.

Warranty Inspection
Most builders provide a one year warranty for new construction. Some defects will not be obvious to the untrained eye and some may develop within the one year period. Therefore, it is critical to obtain Hawkeye Home Inspections, Inc. services prior to the end of the warranty period.

Pool, Spa and Sprinkler Inspections
It’s good to know the condition of a pool or spa system when evaluating a property. We inspect these systems for an additional fee and provide you with an accurate analysis of their current condition and indicate potential problem areas.

Environmental Services
It is our fiduciary responsibility as your professional home inspector to alert you, to the extent possible, to visible environmental hazards in your current or potential house.
